- jonathan ruthven Added 2018-02-12★ ★ ★ ★ ☆We are staying in the large cabin with 3kids under 6, two under 14 and 5 adults. The cabin is OK, enough room for all. The walk to the beach is longer and steaper than we would like. The grounds are clean and there are planned events for the kids that are lead by the camp personal. Younger eager supper friendly and wonderful with the kids. And there are lots of them here. There are only a couple of boats to rent if you plan on fishing. About 25 minutes from the closest grocery store, but there are two fridges and large dinning table with a place to eat at the counter too. Black flies are bad, mosquitoes are average, bring bug spray. There is only 1 fire pit and it is also by the beach. Haven't seen anyone start a fire yet. Would be nice if there were a couple more fire pits or at least one near the top.
- Raul Casal Added 2018-01-05★ ★ ★ ★ ★Wonderful cottages off of the beaten path. Great resort with a variety of rustic cottages right on lake Bella. They offer free use of canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boats and also have motor boats for rent. They have over five kilometres of hiking trails and have crown land nearby. A little gem outside of Algonquin!
