- Chase Stevens Added 2017-06-26★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Had read some mixed reviews so my expectations were not overly high, however we were very pleasantly surprised with our stay at Deerhurst.
All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room, in the Main Building, was spacious and clean. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. We are very discerning travellers so not easily impressed but Deerhurst certainly exceeded our expectations. We came up primarily to hike in Algonquin (that is a must) so didn't utilize the amenities on this visit but the grounds looked fabulous. Were there a few very minor points that could be improved, absolutely, but nothing that detracted from our stay. Yes we would stay there again.
